On 27 and 28 February, Bruno Bodard visited Halong Bay, following an invitation by Ngo Van Hung, Vice President of the Club in Asia and Manager of the “Halong Bay Management Department”.

During this visit, the organisation of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club Annual General Meeting in May 2010 was discussed. On this occasion, lectures will be given on the theme of education and environment awareness.

This is a subject which Bruno Bodard broached when he met with the people in charge of the sites with amenities.

Finally, he was able to understand the important actions carried out in order to clean the Bay, particularly in relation to plastic bags. This work will certainly be less tiresome and costly as a result of the real awareness concerning the impact of this form of littering, hence the challenge of the meeting in 2010.
