SAINTES BAY

The archipelago of "Les Saintes", located in the French West Indies at 12 kilometers at the south of the island of the Guadeloupe, fact part of the chain of the volcanos which separates the Atlantic Ocean from the Caribbean Sea.

It comprises nine small islands, of which Terre de Haut to which the bay of "Les Saines" ones belongs.

Of a surface of 5.2 km², this bay is characterized by broken coasts, dominated by hills relatively low (the dull ones) and bordered of white sand beaches and coconuts. The cost of management of the public services of to insularity thus with transport (access, water, energy, waste) constitutes the principal concern.
