Becoming aware of the importance of the protection of the Nha Trang Bay’s environment (resource basin for the local population), on 1^st June, the Nha Trang Bay Club organized the planting of mangroves over an area of 0.5 hectares in Dam Bay (village located on the Nha Trang Bay).

More than 100 people (adults and children) from the Nha Trang Bay Reserve, Nha Trang Bay Club, town of Nha Trang Youth Committee, Bach Dang secondary school (Dam Bay Site) and the village of Dam Bay participated in this activity.

The Nha Trang Bay Reserve took on all the financial costs of this event .
