Luego de saludarles y desearles un muy buen año nuevo, les invitamos a la inauguración del nuevo Parque Infantil de Santa Bárbara de Samaná este jueves 21 de enero 2010 a las 10.00 de la mañana, en la zona verde grande frente al Pueblo Principe, subiendo al Hotel Cayacoa, frente a la escuela.

Festival del Mar de Santander

In 2005 was organized the 1st Festival del Mar of Santander. It is the first sea festival to take place in Spain. It born to commemorate the city’s anniversary (250th Anniversary of the granting of city status to Santander, (1755, King Fernando VI), but also to be the first of a regular cycle of festivals in the future. All fleets will be present: The Spanish Navy, fishing, sports boats and Tall Ships.

The Wiki-Bays is the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club’s online encyclopaedia.

On the Wiki-Bays pages, you will discover scientific and technical information on the bays, as well as the projects being implemented by Club members.

To open the Wiki-Bays there are two main sections which you can explore:

  • A tour of the bays in 10 maps "A tour of the bays in 10 maps»: a selection of maps illustrating the main characteristics of the natural and human environments of the bays that are members of the Club.

  • Biodiversity in Sine-Saloum "The diversity of the bays": presentation of the natural and human environments, and the sustainable development actions implemented in the bays.

    Sine-Saloum in Senegal is the first site present with documents for download on ecotourism and the protection of the protected marine areas of Saloum.

Le Club

Club labelAt the dawn of the third millennium, it seems of evident importance to group together under a single identity the most beautiful stretches of coastline of the planet, and in particular the bays which are a symbolic link between the ocean and the mainland.

The arc shape of bays is in itself a schematic representation of the confrontation or meeting of these two worlds.

This subtle delimitation naturally favours confrontations and exchanges more strongly than anywhere else.

Due to this area for exchanging ideas, and concrete achievements, the members of the Worlds most beautiful bays club should or must become international references for intelligent management of coastal areas.
